The process of cleaning your body with this soup will last 1 to 3 days. The first phase stars with one day and after a month, the duration of the phase is three days. You have to eat five to six bowls of soup per day. You can add veggies to your soup and mix in healthy spices and herbs. While you are on your detox period, you must drink plenty of water to boost your system to eliminate surplus water and toxins in your body. You have to take half the amount of your weight in ounces of water daily.

Additional tip: You can make soup in advance and you can have soup for more days.

Detox Soup Ingredients

First of all you have to prepase a miso, bone or maybe vegetable broth.

After that you need to add spices like ginger, cumin, cinnamon, turmeric or garlic.

Then add the veggies, such as leeks, onions, carrots, spinach, leeks, zucchini and starchy veggies like beets, parsnips, acorn squah or potatoes.

The next step is to not forget the proteins and add nuts, beans or lentils.

Also, you can add if you want to: avocado, coconut or olive oil, ghee.

Detox Soup Recipes


Broccoli detox soup

All you need is:

  • 2.5 cups of broccoli florets
  • 3 chopped celery stalks
  • 1 chopped onion
  • One cup of spinach or kale
  • 2 chopped and peeled carrots
  • 2 cups of bone broth or vegetables
  • 1/2 tbsp of sea salt
  • Half lemon juice
  • Coconut oil (2 tbsp)
  • Optional: Collagen (2 tbsp)

How to prepare: First of all, heat the coconut oil in one pot and add the onion, celery and broccoli. Stir and cook and after 5 minutes add the broth. Let the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes or unitl all the components blend and the soup is smooth and thick.

Carrot and ginger soup

All you need is:

  • 2 pounds of chopped carrots
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 6 cups of vegetable or bone broth
  • 3 tbsp of grated fresh ginger
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • One cup of coconut milk
  • Black pepper, onion and sea salt
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil or ghee
  • Optional: 2 tbsp of collagen

How to prepare:

First put the ginger, garlic, carrots and the broth in a vessel and let it boil. Then, sauté the onions in a pan, add the ghee and cook it together until the mixture is like caramel. After that put the broth and the onion in a blender and start to blend. Add the coconut milk and seasoning and stir the mixture.

Red lentil soup

All you need:

  • 1/4 cup of olive oil, coconut oil or ghee
  • 2 chopped sweet potatoes
  • Chopped apple
  • Chopped onions
  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup of rinsed red lentils
  • 1/2 tbsp of ground cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp of chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp of paprika
  • 4,5 cups of vegetable or bone broth
  • 1-inch minced ginger root
  • Black pepper and sea salt
  • Optional: Coconut cream

How to prepare:

First of all, put the olive oil in a pot on medium heat. Second add the apple, carrots, potatoes and the onion, mix them together and let them cook for about 10 minutes. After that, add the ginger, cumin, lentils, broth, paprika and the chili powder. Let it to simmer for about 30 minutes or until the mixture softens. Then if the soup thickens, simmer it for some time and put the coconut cream. The soup is ready!
